This Hotel was recommended to me by a close friend, who had stayed there in the past. I am very picky when it comes to Hotel accomodation, and with Appia I was'nt disappointed. It was obviously an old building completely refurbished to the highest of standards . The roof wood beams are left exposed, and a lot of the old... more

This is our second visit to the Appia and we have booked room 101 on both occasions. It is a ground floor room with doors opening onto a small private patio area. The room is huge with a fabulous bed, lovely shower room and hallway with plenty of storage space. The hotel is spotless, so well maintained both in the... more

We stayed at the Appia for 3 nights. It was very nice. Located on a quiet street just 5 mins from the castle, 5 mins or so to Charles Bridge, great location. There were some nice bars and small restaurants nearby too. This place really is a hidden gem, fantastic value. We had a large room with a king sized... more

I would highly recommend this hotel as it was charming, traditional, clean ,friendly, well located and quite. On our arrival I was a bit apprehensive about the location of the hotel as it was located on a quiet cobbled street. However we found that it was actually ideal as it is located just 5 minutes from the castle, 5 minutes... more

Our family accompanied my husband on a business trip to Prague last week. After a great deal of searching we found the Appia Residence, we struggle to find accommodation for 2 adults and two teenagers. We were given an upper floor apartment in the hotel with high ceilings, beams and views across to the castle and cathedral rooftops. Our apartment... more

I cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic hotel. It is in a great area - just a couple of tram stops away from the castle, but in a quiet street away from traffic. Our room was huge with entrance area, separate bathroom, separate bedroom and big bed. It was also completely spotless - the cleanest room we stayed in... more

I had booked a bargain at another hotel through a Prague based agency and had also booked airport transfers with them. The airpoirt transfer went without a hitch until we got to the hotel I'd booked. Bearing in mind we arrived on Boxing Day, the hotel we had booked explained that they'd only received our booking 3 days before and,... more

We have just spent a long weekend at The Appia Residences in Prague. We were delighted with the hotel - a beautiful large suite with seperate lounge and dining area (with hob, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities) a bathroom and terrace. The breakfast served at the hotel has a good selection (fruit, cereal, yoghurts, eggs and bacon, cold meats, cheeses etc).... more

My boyfriend and i stayed at the Appia residences in September 2006... we booked a double room but were allocated a two bedroom apartment with terrace. It was beautiful and well appointed, plus the area was great, away from all the crowds but only 5 minutes to bars and restaurants. We will most definately go back! more

We stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend break with our family of four. Our kids are aged 3 and 6. We had a three room apartment (2 bedrooms) for 149 Euros a night. We were in the unit on the top floor by the breakfast room. It was great. The hotel is new and everything was spotless. The... more
