We stayed here for a city break ( Dec 2011 ) The whole place is newly refurbished to a good standard and the rooms are modern and comfortable. We can't quite understand why this hotel gets so many excellent reviews. It's actually quite noisy - very close to a tram line. Most of the noise on our trip came from noisy neighbors and reconstuction. The construction workers work every day (weekends included) and start early. We've just returned from a 3 night stay and can thoroughly recommend the hotel for it's peaceful location, comfort and good breakfast.
Rooms were huge, plenty of hot water,cosy towels and very warm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Several bars and cafes close by so we didn't have far to walk for an evening meal after our flight.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights & have nothing but praise for the hotel & its staff. Yes it is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the top end of Wenceslas square but this does pay dividends, Quiet evenings not disturbed by the more lively visitors at 2,3,or 4am!!! Hotel is away from the tourist areas, a few blocks from two different subway stations. We did walk to both Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge from the hotel without a problem. The neighborhood felt safe and there were a few restaurants within a few blocks. U Webru across the street was good for dinner/drinks.
