Booked this hotel for a Christmas city break to Prague and was not disappointed, the service was fantastic and the location was great too. Just the right distance to take the tram or subway into town, the grounds had fantastic views over Prague and there were lots of little reasonably priced restaurants nearby too. The staff were able to book... more

I was surprised that this 4**** Hotel did not have a lift and no one to help us with the luggage. One lady at the desk 7am to 7 pm. Do not recommend for elderly people. Not on step of Prague castle but 15 minutes if you are a fast walker. Not helpful when we arrived at 11.45am told to... more

I booked this trip as a surprise birthday treat for my partner. The hotel was quite difficult to find, but once we did and got our bearings, we were really pleased with the location. It was a little way out of town, but the trams are great and run really frequently. The view over the town was amazing and it... more

Lovely hotel, good views, A nice walk down into town or trams run frequent to about 12.30am. Lunch, dinner and drinks are a lot cheaper near the monistery though inside is expensive. Staff were helpfull, room clean, overall a great place to stay for a nice change from hustle and bustle of the centre! more

This hotel was lovely, and in a really great location. It is set in a beautiful courtyard, with lots of character surrounding it. You can get some amazing views of the city from your room, or the areas by the hotel. There are some shops and cafes near by, however you do need to walk some distance to get to... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nighst in mid December 08. The monasery is situated on the hillside of Strahov just above the old town. The walk down to the old town is a really nice way to start your day. For the lazy ones the tram is a mere 200 metres away from the hotel. The tram... more

I chose this hotel based on reviews I read on the net and I can say I was definitely not disappointed. The location in fantastic if you don't want to be right in the middle of the city centre, but close enough for it to be within walking distance- Charles Bridge is about 15 mins away by foot. The area... more

If you don't mind being awaken at 6 am by church bells and be reminded by a different set of bells every hour or so that you sleep in a former religious building, this is the right place for you. Beware, there is no reception from 7am to 7pm and if you arrive at night like I did, it may... more

we stayed in residence monastery for 4 days (3 nights) while almost nobody was in the hotel. For that reason, we could chose a very nice room (lots of space, nice living room, two beds - one single and a double, very nice view, cosy and romantic atmosphere... The breakfast and the people at the reception were very helpfull. The... more

this hotel is located within the monastery area ie 15 mn far away from "downtown" Prag. If you look for a quiet place away from noise and turbulance of Charles bridge, the place is for you, provided you accept to walk 15 mn down to the city center (and 20 / 25 uphills !). We enjoyed, as you can really... more
