We wanted to stay in Prague just for one weekend to enjoy our 8th wedding anniversary. It was our second time in Prague and we did not to stay in the same big, expensive and sort of "posh" hotel in the in the city centre. As we wanted something cheaper we decided to try this "family-style" looking hotel located about 10 minutes from the river of Vlatava and city centre. Hotel Antonie is not a "posh" hotel at all and that was obvious for the first sight. It is an old vila in the middle of garden. Interiors and rooms are cosy and old-style decorated. There was only a small restaurant and bar for hotel guests but we did not want more than breakfast or quick drink in the evening. All hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with a fairly good command of English. It was great anniversary...
