We didn't get passed the reception area. On arrival the staff told us they had over booked and we were being moved to a different hotel at the opposite (cheaper) end of town. . Just had 3 night stay in one of the deluxe rooms on the top floor, these have a great view of the castle which is lit up at night. Spent five days in a large, spacious room. Clean, very helpful staff, and a great breakfast. Really enjoyed the rooftop terrace, a great place for a glass of wine at the end of the evening. Would definately stay there again. Close to everything. Free internet :) more

First trip to Prague--LOVED IT!!! The hotel was wonderful--clean, big rooms, big bathrooms. All hotel staff were friendly, helpful, professional. Super buffet breakfast AND it was until 11:00am!!! No getting up early on vacation to get to breakfast by 8:00am! Located one block from St. Wenselas square. Many excellent restaurants, shops, cafes in the area. Excellent location about 15 mins from square, near bridge, lovely views walking over bridge, good nightlife. Hotel was excellent based to walk to all amenities, the breakfast was not brilliantly warm as other reviews suggest but you go with the flow and it was acceptable. Though Prague isn't known for service with a smile, this hotel was different. The staff was very friendly and helpful, right down to the cleaning staff. The hotel was beautiful. The best thing about this hotel is the location:you can walk to most sights and attractions.At first it seemed nice and clean but I even found a bug in the bathroom (it had never happened to me before in a hotel). I didn't know they steal....God! But it's not much wonder as it appeared to me than many people try... more

stayed there last four days in august, 09. staff were nice, rooms small, good location, close to all public transport, our room was on the fourth floor, but we never got to sleep till the loud music stopped in bar down stairs, that was around 4 30 am.hotel is ok if you can do with 2 or 3 hours sleep.... more

We have just returned from our trip from Prague. The hotel was very nice and clean, situated at the old down directely. We got good service fo a good rate. Staff at the Front Desk were very nice and helpfull. more
