We booked this hotel by phone because their web site wasn't working and we were told that the rate for one night (double room with brksf) was 2,200 Czk as we had previously seen on their web site. We spent one night there and then we went to Prague. On our way back we decided to stop there again, since... more

We stayed recently at the hotel voronez and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The location for us was perfect and very near the local tram stop. We were in a superior room and our room was large by European standards and had a bathroom that was modern and clean. The room also had a nice balcony which overlooked the... more

This hotel was OK. Had everything one needs. Its just that it was out in the middle of nowhere. Also the staff struggled with English. 3-4 good restaurants. So food is not a problem. Overall recommended for business but not for tourists. Good value for money. The massage centre isnt great. Only opens at 4. has one guy who doesnt... more

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I travelled to Brno in June 2008 for 4 nights. The staff were very friendly and even brought us the breakfast at the time we wanted in our room... The hotel restaurant was great (although usually empty) with great local food and a very friendly chef. Finally, the... more

I just came back from Brno. We travelled as a group and stayed there for the New Year. Our domicile was hotel Voronez 1. And I was pleasant surprised with it. On the outside looks like a typical hotel from the times of socialisem, but it has been descent redecorrated. Rooms are quite big, modern and very celan, so is... more

First impression was good : rooms are clean, nice and quiet, and free unlimited internet connection (wireless only). Taxi from/to Airport = +/- 550 CKZ Taxi from/to old city = +/- 130 CKZ Points that could be improved : - Reception ppl should learn to smile, it looks like they have some problems of their own and don't wanna be... more

This is a business class hotel close to Brno Exhibition Centre. They really do not have time for tourists and display a rather cavalier attitude to them. On my recent three-night stay I found that they had private functions booked for two nights. This resulted in the hotel closing most facilities to ordinary (paying) guests. They did not seem to... more

The hotel is right beside the exhibtion centre in Brno (one of the largest in eastern europe). Therefore ideal if you're attending an exhibtion, but no so good for a tourist wanting to wander around the centre of Brno old town (which is very nice). The hotel is a 480 - 500 Cz. krona taxi ride from Brno airport (served... more

Just returned from Brno and would recommend it for a short break. The Hotel was very good & the Whisky Club Bar was a welcome visit before bed. As like all East European customer service it can be a little hit and miss sometimes, but generally we found it pretty good. Prague is 2 hours away by coach & tickets... more

The Hotel Voronez in Brno, Czech Repbulic was a very pleasant stay. Not a very attractive building from the exterior, but the rooms were very well decorated, with nice furnishings, facilities and bathroom. Competitively priced (I payed GBP114 for 3 nights) through ryanairhotels. The inclusive continental breakfast tasted good and gave lots of choice. The only disadvantage is the distance... more
