Recently have stayed at the motel with a group of tourist as a tour leader. First impression wasn't too good - isn't there better place for woodpile than outdoor stairs leading to the motel? And there just two guests cars with polish plates by the motel - a bit suspicious for a big motel like this.
After I have found the reception and checked our reservation, I have invited tourists from the bus and for some two minutes have left my bag with travel books and maps by the reception unattended. It was stolen even if at that time there were just: owner of the motel with his female companion, receptionist and boyfriend of the receptionist together with his male friend. When I was looking for my bag, owner of the instead of helping me started to mock me. Just the the kind of attitude you would expect from motel owner. As there wasn't anything of significant value in the bag I did not called the police. Most probably it would not be worth the fuss without speaking czech - most police... more
