We turned up in town without a reservation, asked at the tourist office and after a few places were full we got this . It's quite cheap and very close to centre but they haven't changed the decor, furnishings, fittings since the 70s. so it's a bit grotty. we stayed here for 1 night last summer we found it by chance i checked the room first before i handed over any money. it was very drab looking with tv phone and radio which were so old i dont even think they worked the room wasnt the cleanest of places id seen but price was good. when we returned... more

I got a room at this hotel on a Saturday afternoon this past winter that was arranged by the kind, hardworking woman at the tourist office on the main square. I just needed a place to sleep as I was just passing through, leaving early next morning. The hotel was dirt cheap and I suppose it served its purpose. Also... more

Big room, priced at 515 CZK single, 780 CZK double, no possibility of breakfast but not a problem given the location. Whole hotel faded but attractive. Friendly staff. Bathroom a little worn, but no great loss. Location as good as it gets in Olomouc - almost on the town square. Probably the best value in the town - go for... more
