Pica Paca Hotel got 2 thumbs up (or rather 4) from us. Our stay with them unfortunately was a short one of three nights as we headed up to Poland originally for the Heineken Open'er festival in Gdynia..which if you are into these things is most definately worth the trip. We decided to have a couple of extra days after... more

Breakfast was small and very delicate:) Staff was very very helpfull - and the service was like a 5 star hotel. The two next nights we stayed in the Kobzka house on the roof of the hotel. We stayed here while attending a conference. The location was very convenient and only a short stroll to the old town and all its' sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful which gave the hotel a relaxed and friendly feel. The rooms are modern and very clean. I booked the Pica Paca hotel because the location was close to where we had to be for our business. This is a perfect place with personal service as you always wanted it. Clean, modern and well equipped rooms, good beds, a nice bowl with apples and mineral water for free. A good stocked mini bar, iron & board, flat... more

A friend and I stayed here for three nights in August. We had booked over the net and requested a twin rather than a double. This was confirmed almost immediately and we were told we were in the Neil Armstrong Suite. On arrival, we were shown to the Galelio Suite which was a double. When we questioned the sleeping arrangements,... more

The hotel is well situated in the centre of Gdansk. It is on Granary Island, so 300 m from the start of the Royal Mile (pedestrianised main tourist street) over a bridge. The hotel is also near the departure points for boats the the coast and the bay of Gdansk. It is very modern in its design. Each room is... more

Just returned from Gdansk and can't wait to go back :) Pica Paca is one of my favourite hotels in Poland now. I am traveling a lot and I know that it is not easy to find good accomodation in our country. Especially if you don't want to spend a fortune on your stay. Pica Paca is new and fancy,... more

The Pica Paca Hotel is a brand new design hotel (opened in December 2007) on Granary Island and perfectly located close to the Old Town. After a five minutes walk, crossing a small bridge over the Motlawa River, you will reach the Green Gate which is the starting point of the Long Street, the most famous and splendid part of... more
