Stayed at Affinity apartment AF8, a luxury duplex for five, along with relatives for four nights, at the end of October 2009. The apartment was recommended to us by friends who had previously stayed here. Positioned on the top ( 4th ) floor of a residential block ( No lift by the way ) in a side street adjacent to the river. The apartment had it's own balcony giving views framed by trees across the River Wista to Wawel Hill and Castle complex, particulary pretty at night. It was about a 15 minute stroll over the bridge to the old town , which offers the most choice for bars / restaurants etc., there are some nearer but the choice is somewhat limited. The general feeling amongst our group was the apartment was perhaps that little bit too far out, only that if you wanted to nip back quickly to get something it was a half hour round trip, so being located a bit nearer to the old town may have been more beneficial.
