We stayed here for 2 nights - this was a great hotel. The friendly welcoming staff, the comfortable bedrooms and modern bathrooms and fantastic breakfast, all made our stay in Krakow truly memorable. A slight problem with the credit card machine upon Check Out caused the young staff some confusion but our taxi to the railway station was paid for... more

We stayed at the Ester for 3 nights in December, having read many favourable reviews on Trip Advisor. For the first time, I disagreed with the majority of reviews and found the Ester to be adequate but little else. Having requested a room with a view of the square, I was disappointed to be given one with a horrible view... more

We were very impressed by this hotel. The location in the Jewish quarter was quiet but at the same time there are loads of restaurants and bars in the near vicinity. The rooms were of a good size and the whole place was well decorated and maintained. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast. It took about 15 minutes to... more

Had a great five nights at this excellent hotel, rooms clean, spacious and really comfortable. Breakfast varied, with good selection of cold and hot food available. Two minor niggles, there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and the TV had no working English speaking channels, but you don't go there to watch TV afterall. Staff very... more

We have just returned from a 5 day break staying at the Ester Hotel. The hotel was everything and more than we had hoped for. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome, staff are very friendly and very helpful. We had a spacious room overlooking the square which was lovely - there was no extra charge for this,... more

Realy enjoyed my stay at the ester, food good, service good, staff good. AVOID THE RESTURANT NEXT DOOR THE ARIEL, although if you like the Faulty Towers experiance go for it. The ARIEL is the worst place i have visited in my life. more

We booked this 3* hotel through Lastminute.com and it proved to be a little gem of a hotel. Reception was welcoming and check in two hours early proved no problem. Situated in a small cobbled square in the middle of Kazimierz the Jewish quarter of Krakow it was well placed for access on foot (15min walk) to the town centre,... more

This is an excellent hotel. Rooms Great, food Great. Great Breakfast and if you want a cooked breakfast just ask, it is no problem. Only 15-20 minutes walk to the old town. Hotel situated in the Jewish Quarter, which has some excellent resturants and bars closeby, best bar just opposite. Had one of my best meals in the Hotel and... more

Of all the places I've ever stayed, my time at The Ester could not have been more pleasant. It started with checking in. Chris at the front desk could not have made us feel more welcome. The entire staff during our stay had smiles on their face continually and made every effort to steer us in the right direction for... more

My mum and I stayed here a few weeks ago and were very impressed. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated and the bathrooms - although compact - were great. The staff were friendly and helpful (they spoke good English too). I noticed in other reviews that people (professional moaners?)complained about there not being a hot breakfast on offer. I personally... more
