Good hotel Location quality, basically on the square. Friendly staff, reception manned 24 hours a day, or it was when I crawled in. Nice rooms, very quiet as we were round the back. Breakfast very good apart from the boiled sausages, not my cup of tea. Would recommend. more

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend and he was right! The desk folks are nice, it's a block away from the main square, and an easy walk from everything else. Some of the rooms are modern and renovated, others are "traditional." (That means a fan but no air conditioning.) We paid extra for the traditional room with... more

We stayed two nights great location and excellent staff. Checked room before booking and got offered room131, a suite with a double bed at a discounted price and here is why! Nice room, great facilities but when you get back at night to sleep you would think you were in a jet plane!! The ventilation fan from the night club below... more

My Teenage son and I stayed here for two nights whilst on a short city break. The room was large and airy, beds comfortable and bathroom modern and well appointed. Our room was located right above the Flying Lizard night club which made it a little noisy until the early morning and then we had road works starting shortly after... more

I love this Hotel. I have stayed here many times over the years and loved the faded charm of the reception area and the rooms. It is in a great location and when I moved away from Poland, I have since brought groups of students here, on school trips to Auschwitz and the city. I think that it is great... more

We stayed here for 9 nights, and I know others mention the noise problem, but really the other positives outweigh that. Just be prepared for some club noise Thurs-Sat nights, otherwise there is no problem. The rooms are just beautiful -- like the website shows; a timelessness to the interior design. We were there w/ 2 children, and had a... more

it´s rare for me to give a really bad review, as i always check places out first, but this one was a mistake. the lobby was nice and warm, but there was almost no heat in my room, in freezing january. the bathroom was a bit small, but the worst part was they put me in a room directly above... more

The hotel is right on the old market square, so it was noisy all night long. We were there on a weekend, so that could be worse than usual. After getting earplugs it was better, but still disruptive. The cigarette smoke was unbearable. Many European hotels mix smoking and non-smoking, but my room was so poorly ventilated that I opted... more

Hotel Saski, situated immediately off the Old Market Square is definitely worth a stay - but dont forget your earplugs! If you want a central base and be in the hustle and bustle with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops close to hand, Hotel Saski is ideally situated. Excellent breakfasts include a full cold buffet plus anything you could possibly... more

The service at reception was APPALLINGLY BAD. It was, in fact, the rudest service I have ever experienced in any hotel in my life. Having booked a double room, we were given keys to a room which was not a double room - well, these things can happen even at the best of times. So we went to reception and... more
