Nothing special, just a normal hotel, but the location is EXCELLENT close to train station and to to the city center and to everything you need. Staff was quite good. Interior is beautiful and rooms are clean.

If you are on a budget and don't mind the possibility of a bad night's sleep this is the place for you. Renovation works from 7am to 9pm mean constant noise early in the morning and into the night. When entering through to front door, you may feel the atmosphere of an old, classic hotel. Four meters to the ceiling, wooden floors, wallpaper and tapestry. Close to the station and the main old streets this hotel offers a quaint charm. An old building with high ceilings, large windows, sweeping stair case and classic pre modern interiors. Attempts at updating furniture let this establishment down. Original bedroom decor needs to replace modern pine.

The biggest advantage of the hotel is its location but you can get plenty of other (even much better) places in the very center. What is shameful is that the staff is "friendly" if you are generous with them... It also looks like they don't have enough people as you wait ages to talk to anybody, to get your meals... More

The hotel is beautiful. The staff spoke english and they were nice enough. They prepared my breakfast in a bag because my train was leaving before the opening hours of the cafeteria.
