Very central is only a few yards from Old Town Square ( its huge ) and loads of restaurants, basic room was very big and had queen sized double bed & whirlpool bath, spotlessly clean, buffet breakfast a bit disappointing. Staff were friendly. Ask at reception for laptop cable for free internet in room. Friday & Weekends were a bit... more

What a brilliant place to stay. You would never guess from the wrought iron gates what lies behind. Our room was excellent. The bed one of the most confortable I have ever slept in.The room was lovely, the bedding so crisp and clean. The bathroom was superb, the underfloor heating, the cleanliness were second to none. The breakfast was excellent,... more

We can only but praise this stunning hotel. Who would have thought that behind the wrought iron gates a world of shear oppulance would await. It was our 1st visit to Poland so choosing hotel was like a needle in a haystack but what a find. And it snowed hooray! The bedrooms were luxurious to say the least. Crisp white... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pod Roza for a week in the run up to Christmas. It's in a charming old building, but the interior is quite modern. Our room was a good size, nice decor, complete with marble bathroom with shower, and jacuzzi bath - I particularly liked the posh L'Occitane toiletries! The inclusive breakfast was good,... more

This was supposed to be the best Hotel in Krakow. It did have a wonderful location. We had an awful room overlooking shabby rooftops. The room was so small that my husband had to crawl over me to get out of bed. The bathroom was very small also and not enough space to put our things. I was not impressed... more

Pod Roza has an excellent location, just steps from the Main Market Square. Rooms are big and stylish, with slippers and bathrobes and L`Occitane toiletries. Service was ok and the breakfast generous. Would definately stay there again. more

The hotel was beautiful and in an excellent location. The rooms were no different -- beautifully appointed. With so much to praise I'll have to mention at least one thing that wasn't quite up to par. The breakfast was great but the service slow and unmotivated (like much of europe). On the plus side I had one of the best... more

Based on Internet reviews, its location and history we booked and stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Pod Roza (550 PLN/night). We had a room on the 4th (and last floor) with a lovely view of St Mary's church towers (the bugler) and the town square clock. The room was ok but a little off, we had a 4... more

Stayed in Feb / 2006 in a Twin Room ; very well appointed with comfy beds and great marble bathroom with nice L'Occident soaps and shampoos etc. Although facing the street the room was quiet. Heating all thermostatically controlled in the room. Great buffet breakfast in the glass roofed atrium - which also includes 2 excellent restaurants, one Polish one... more

This hotel is on beautiful Florianska Street (spelling?) about one and one-half blocks from the delightful main market square in a beautifully restored old building (we found the ancient crooked walls to be kind of fun). Our room was massive, with 15 foot ceilings, a separate dressing area and a huge bathroom. It was decorated with a combination of antique... more
