Stayed in this lovely hotel in June. Very handy for the main town was a little worried when we found we were opposite a cocktail bar but as the hotel bar was closed at 11pm it was very handy. there are a few bars within a short walking distance and they are cheaper than the old town square. The staff... more

We booked 3 nights at this hotel before moving onto Slovakia. I really wish we could have stayed at this hotel for the entire holiday! It was fabulous. The staff are very helpful and kind. The hotel has lovely decoration and charactor throughout. We were upgraded to a suite which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath! I... more

Very nice boutique hotel, smallish hotel but this in no way affected the service we received. Very clean and comfortable, decorated in sympathetic way to the exterior of the building. Good choice of breakfast foods, the usual continental stuff but also a menu where you could chose hot food freshly cooked which was included in the price of breakfast. Staff... more

This boutique hotel is stunning. It is situated in a great area, close to the main square. It's walls are very old and look amazing. The entrance is behind some big, heavy doors and once inside, the atmosphere is great. The room took our breath away. It was huge. Decorated really beautifully with a big clean bathroom ensuite. The view... more

We have been with my fiancee at Amadeus hotel for two romantic nights in the spendid Krakow for celebrating our ninth year relationship. Actually, we had booked the "Romantic Package", which is an offer of the hotel (two nights in a suite, a bottle of wine welcoming in the suite, a "romantic" dinner at the restaurant of the hotel, sauna).... more

Management response from

Sirs/Mesdames, In response to a complaint about the review of the stay of guests from Greece in our hotel, I would like to rectify a number of facts. The travel packet: “Romantic Stay” in the Amadeus Hotel includes the treatment of guests with a bottle of wine upon their arrival, and a 4-course dinner. Our guests were treated with a...

The best thing about this hotel is the location, one minute from the square. Really nice rooms with an old world feel to them. It has a small bar & restaurant also. Breakfast had good choices such as omeletes etc. We were supposed to be staying in wyspianski but got upgraded to this which was a big improvement more

My partner booked this trip as a surprise 30th Birthday present for me and everything about the trip was perfect. The hotel is in a superb location, a short stroll from the square and less than 5mins walk from the train station. We were very lucky with the room we were allocated - it was at the front and was... more

A fantastic hotel with exceptionally helpful and courteous staff that all spoke perfect English. We didn't make breakfast because of the extremely sociable nightlife so we had our breakfast in our room every morning and what a breakfast ! Excellent location which meant a very short walk to the main square which is full of excellent pubs/restaurants etc. Auschwitz,Salt Mines and... more

We booked in to the Amadeus in 2007 for 5 nights - 3 nights at the start of our trip and two nights at the end. We were given a 20% discount on the price. I can email you the booking confirmation as proof. Amadeus however charged us the full price for the second stay, they refused to print out... more
