The Maltanksi is an intimate boutique hotel. It is clean, comfortable, and charming, and the staff is exceptionally helpful. The location is ideal - on a quiet leafy street but a very short walk from Wawel and from the main square. The breakfast is wonderful. more

We spent some time on the internet reserching hotels in Kraków (even though we now live in Warsaw) to find the right hotel. Sure, we could have stayed at the Radisson or Orbis, but we wanted something a bit more romantic and a little more 'personal'. We have just returned from a three night stay in Krakow, staying at Hotel Maltanski between Christmas and New Year. The hotel is superb, being just a few minutes walk from both the Old Town Square and Wawel Castle.
