The area in which this hotel is situated, is perhaps not central to Zakopane town, but it is certainly suburban to the edge of the town.
There are forty-two rooms in this hotel, which is a nice manageable size for the staff to deal with. The rooms were adequate in size and there was an ensuite, and balcony here, overlooking some magnificent gardens. As if this wasn't enough, there was an outstanding view of the Tatra mountains. This hotel has recently been refurbished or rebuilt. On the ground floor is a small bar and a separate restaurant. The bar was quite small and catered for just a small amount of people. The restaurant was also where breakfast was served. Breakfast was by Polish standards, quite good. There was a selection of meats, breads, yoghurts, jams and cereals. Someone had tried to have a go at making scrambled eggs but we found these to be saturated with water or steam. Fruit was in plentiful supply but the cereals seemed stale.
