Great location and great view-ridiculous fees! FYI--an extra person will cost you about 140 zl. PER NIGHT, or about $65, that's on top of the $200+/night fees. Oh yeah, and you have to pay extra for the internet too. Ridiculous. This hotel is supposed to be excellent, but how great does being nickled and dimed to death in a $210/night... more
This Hotel is very centrally located in Zakopane. This proved to be a blessing and a curse. The Hotel itself is quite large and looks pretty impressive with a traditional style. There was a welcoming fire burning in reception when we arrived (it was chilly) and our bags were taken to our room by a porter. Our room (a twin)... more
Stayed here for seven nights after a four-night stay in Kraków. It's about the only place where you'll hear English spoken in the town! Accommodation comfortable without being special - no tea/coffee facilities, for example, or English-language TV stations. But the food's pretty good - our deal included a 4-course dinner. If anything the service is too quick - they... more
We stayed here for three nights in May and were very happy. We received an excellent price for the room with walk-in rates. We stayed in Room 303 which was a good size. It had one Queen sized bed plus a single. The furnishings were quite good. What made this room was that it was one of the few in... more
Stayed at this hotel during the first week of May. It is located right in the middle of Zakopane, and they claim they are a '4 star' hotel (laughable). The price they asked for a double room is sky high, as if we were staying in a Hyatt or Hilton. The first room they showed us was just terrible, much... more
We thoroughly enjoyed our 7-night stay at the Litwor, on a WA Shearings holiday, August 2006. Our room was perhaps slightly in need of redecoration, but very clean and comfortable, with a balcony looking out to Mt Giewont. Extensive buffet breakfast. Food at dinner was excellent quality and beautifully presented. Staff always friendly and helpful. Can't wait for another opportunity... more
We stayed at the Litwor for a week as part of a Poland tour with Cosmos motor coach tours. The hotel is mostly European, we were the only Americans there at the time. But that added to the enjoyment. We had a buffet breakfast and a set dinner menu as part of our package, so don't know how the meals... more
Just returned from the Litwor on a family ski holiday. Excellent accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Friendly helpful staff. Restaurant meals excellent and also service and staff. Very highly recommended. First time in Zakopane for over 20 years and can't wait to return. Ski-ing was best. Prices incredibly low for ski hire, tows, etc. An excellent holiday all round. more
I arrived at the Litwor with my family on the 20th December for one week. Zakopane is very much an up and coming ski resort and one of the most beautiful I have come across in my life. The hotel has the service that the Polish are so renowned for which was consistent throughout. Our rooms smelled of gas which... more
