This hotel apparently has two standards (we didn't know this until it was too late). Originally picked as it was cheap & central in Zakopane. When arrived it took 20 mins to check in! not the quickest. got to the room in a corridor that could possibly be a youth hostel!!! Our "double" room was in fact a single and... more

DON'T!!!! I REPEAT, DON'T! DON'T BOOK THE CHEAPEST ROOM!!!!! It's called a double… and a tempting choice at such a low price. STAY AWAY! This "double" is actually a pullout couch and a single bed. Just back from Kolejarz, right next to where the bus stops from Krakow. We had a big room with a separate living area , lovely clean bathroom, great shower. Breakfast basic but plentiful and did the job. You can catch mini buses to the main walkig area at Kurnice right ouside the bus station . Food in town excelent value... more

Booked this as it was one of the cheapest places in Zakopane. Even though we booked a double we were given a twin, with the explanation an apartment in Polish is a Double and a double is actually a twin (my Polish girlfriend had never heard of this). The rooms were cleanish and basic, but no soap and one tiny... more
