I spent 5 nights at this hotel and would recommend it to everyone. The staff was wonderful and helpful above and beyond. The hotel itself is beautiful in European style. I arrived with my son by coach from Krakow in front of the Hotel Grand Stammary. At first I thought that it was a museum or the town hall and then discovered that it was a hotel when I saw the word spa. As it was late I didn't feel like wandering around so thought that the spa seemed interesting.... more

Just booking the room was an exercise in frustration. They didn't respond to e-mails, did not confirm the reservation after I had faxed them as requested and then they got the reservation wrong! It took numerous e-mails, a couple of telephone calls and a fax to confirm one room for one night! The only room with a bathtub was a... more
