Hotel Zaulek is located in a quiet street next to the University and at the edge of the old town. Very good Polish food served in the restaurant. Breakfast particularly good. I stayed at Zaulek for three nights during a conference visit. The hotel is apparently owned and run by the University of Wroclaw. The staff were very kind and helpful and helped me with several issues. They spoke reasonable English. The lady at the restaurant did not speak almost any English. This was our first visit to Poland, despite being seasoned European travellers.
