The photos of this hotel suggested a cube structure with sail like design in an isolated location which appeared contrary to the claims of it being "central ". As the taxi headed for the hotel on what were "dug up" back streets it began to look like the descriptions were less than honest. This first impression was far from the truth. Yes it was surrounded by some pretty major road construction but this was due to the new tram lines being installed which when finished will mean 20 yards from the front door a tram will take you to a stones throw of the Old market square for pennys. Nice to see EU money being put to good use and this is apparent throughout the city.
The hotel is small to medium and although it is apparently 10 years old it is clean, moderm and very well maintained with fixtures and fittings looking new. Our room was an odd triangular shape, due to the hotel being prism like and not cubed, but a good size corner location and in very good condition... more
