I can't say I loved the hotel. Location was decent...15 min walk from town, but right across from the church on the lake. The rooms were huge, but it was just too old and too rustic for the cost. Vila Bled is beautifully located just opposite the island in the lake. The room (suite) was very spacious with a lot of drawers and cupboards. There is a Lido with a supervisor where you can swim in the lake and sunbathe. Free rowing boats. Friendly and competent staff. The breakfast is good.

My wife and I spent our 28th anniversary at Villa Bled and loved it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable and they offer free rowboats and bicycles to use on the lake and around town. A great place to stay.
