We didnt stay at Pension Mayer, however we heard they had a charming restaurant. Charming is an understatement! I still dream about the brie and cranberry sauce starter I had and the delicious white Slovenian wine we had. The price was reasonable and the service was of a very high standard. Would return to Bled, just to eat here alone! more

Penzion Mayer is situated up on the hill adjacent to Hotel Golf (which is a dive). Realistically there are no lake views from the rooms. What a fantastic little place! We were in Lake Bled for a family wedding, most of the guests stayed in the Golf Hotel next door. Penzion Mayer was spotless, comfortable and good value.
