Ljubljana was such a great town and this pension is perfect to explore this charming place ! We were treated with great care and having tea available after a day of wandering and shopping was a special touch !

We loved our location at Penzion Pod Lipo and enjoyed the hospitality of the B&B. We asked a lot of questions and were always treated with the utmost of care. We enjoyed the free tea after touring the Old Town and the Castle. The place was charming and the people we encountered were too.

You get what you pay for and this is not glamorous accommodation but Penzion Pod Lipo was perfect for a weekend stay in a wonderful city such as Ljubljana where you're not there to spend time in your room. Good location, just 10 minutes’ walk from the centre, but check what kind of room you are given. Ours was long, thin and dark, rather like sleeping in a corridor. We had a peek at the other rooms whilke they were being cleaned. These were much bigger and brighter. So ask for a room at the front of the building.... More
