We had booked a room specifically in the 'Executive' part of grand Union on-line (with e-bookers), after reading the negative comments about the 'Business' part of the hotel. Location wise this hotel is perfect as it is only steps away from the old town and main attractions. The rooms are spacious with very large beds. I believe that Grand Hotel Union is the best hotel in Ljubljana, the location can't be better which just within walking distance to city centre, bus and train station. We used the swimming pool in the hotel and found it is relaxed. Breakfast is also great with varied option. one advise, don't take the taxi in front of the hotel... more
