After reading the previous reviews on this site, we went there expecting a hostel, so we had somewhat low expectations. We got room 127, which really didn't look like a hostel at all, as everything in the room looks like it has been very recently renovated, bathroom is spotless and tiles look brand new. Its a hostel, clearly seen from one of the pictures there's a banner saying Hotel - Hostel displayed across facade (night view). It is a late response, but there have been changes in the hotel structure in the last year which I must report. Truly one part of the present hotel used to be a hostel 3 years back and we still sell 5 dormitory rooms to backpackers on hostel sites for a reasonable price, but there other rooms have been converted...

Had a two night stay here in early October. Paid 72 Euro/night. Chose this hotel based on Lonely Planet recommendation. The place is quite old, but it has been completely renovated at some point in the past few years, so it feels very clean and new (at least in the accommodation areas - not so much in the public areas).... more
We were surprised at how nice this property was in Postojna. We weren't expecting much but we had a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen.
