My wife and I spent three enjoyable nights at Gerlóczy recently -- nicely appointed rooms, good service, and an excellent restaurant. Plus, it's conveniently located in Pest for walking, even into Buda, also pretty close to the metro. And there are plenty of other restaurants/bars close by. Gerlóczy comes highly recommended! more

Stayed at the Gerloczy recently with friends. We were made to feel very welcome, rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was adequate and we had a good evening meal in the restaurant. Everything recommended by Henrietta was spot on. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. more

The Gerloczy is perfect: great location close to tourist venues and Metro, Chain Bridge, etc.; some English spoken which is not always common in Budapest; good food, coffee and wine.
