This hotel is a wonderful old palace in one of the best location in Budapest, it's very quiet, the room gave on a little square and a church. 10 minutes walking distance to everything! Most of all the staff were wonderful, always helpful and would really get out of their way to: organize a taxi to the hotel at the... More

We visited Budapest in mid May 2013 May and chose the Palazzo Zichy as a result of the good reviews on Trip Advisor. Lovely Hotel and counter staff, great breakfast, even if dining area is a bit cramped at peak time, and wonderful room and wet room shower. Location OK for evening eating out - just 10 minutes away, and Metro... More

Wonderful hotel. Very plush. Rooms really good. Very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Good choice of hot and cold food. Well situated. Within walking distance of central Budapest and close to tram and metro. Would highly recommend it.

We've spent 4 days here and can't say enough god things about it. We stayed in Room 102 and it's very modern and very comfortable. The bath was fully equipped with a strong overhead shower as well as a hand held. The breakfast is an outstanding European breakfast and the staff ensures that everything is fresh and well stocked. The hotel is in a very good location for exploring the city. The bedrooms and public areas are kept very clean, the walkin rain shower in the bedroom is very welcome after a day sightseeing. The breakfast room was very cramped with people pushing past tables to get to the food stations, it is not very well planned, one morning... More

We have traveled to many hotels in Europe and always check Trip Advisor before booking to get an idea of prices and recommendations. This hotel was rated #2 in Budapest and it certainly deserves a high rating. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. There are many amenities but what stands out the most is the customer service and the... More

Long weekend with friends - we took the package that provided a tour of the city, a 3 course meal in a very nice restaurant and a boat trip - the hotel even organised the taxi from and to the hotel for us. Super choice for breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful. Excellent in every respect.

A beautiful and well kept hotel at a pretty good location. Excellent service. A good breakfast, even though in a bit cramped space. Just some minimal annoyances, like a strange soap that leaves one feeling oily, an antique bidet instead of a hand shower. But in general a very nice stay.

4 night stay in standard room. Outstanding front desk and service. Very pleasant workout room. Quiet rooms with hard beds offered respite from sightseeing. Short walk to metro on green or red lines encompassing majority of sights
