We got this hotel as part of a cheap package deal and were very pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The hotel is in a great location for the underground with plenty around. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the hotel itself was really fancy, everything looked really well decorated and the rooms had everything we needed.... More

Very pleased that I chose this hotel for our city break. Location was excellent, the room was lovely and clean. The staff were really polite and helpful and spoke good English. They weren't too 'in your face' like staff can be in some places. The breakfast was really good too, the spicy sausage was particularly good, and also the pastries.... More

We went to Budapest in the spring of 2010, and the agency found this hotel for our stay... To tell the truth, i didnt know what hotel i was going to,but when we arrived i was so pleasantly surprised. This is a nice, small ,boutique hotel very close to the city center and my favourite Danube river.... The rooms are... More

Most previous reviewers have got this Hotel absolutely right. It is located 10 mins. walk away from the Parliament building, 5 mins. from the river Danube and 5 mins. from the metro and tramline junction and mainline train station at Nyugati making all of the major tourist sites readily accessible. The Red Line hop on hop off tour bus stops... More

Stayed for 3 nights in Budapest in May and am so pleased I chose this hotel. The location is great - only a short walk to trams, metro and buses. Booking a taxi through the hotel was actually cheaper than booking one on-line which was a pleasant surprise. Staff were very helpful and the 2 evening meals I had there... More

Booked on-line and based on revues on here ( which have been mixed), too say it was good value for money is an understatement. Great location 10 minutes walk from Parliament and St Margarets Bridge, 5 mins from the Metro and a variety of trams plus the bus stop for the Tour Bus which travels around the City. The room... Went last September on a whim based on a bargain we got from KGB deals. First time in Budapest. The hotel was very clean, very newly renovated, the street it was on left a little to be desired but it did the job and was relatively central. Comfy beds, gorgeous furnishings. Corridors could do with recarpeting as they didn't think... More

There was only the junior suite available as we arrived un announced so we got it and we really like it. Very nice design. Clean. Nice facilities. Location depends on what you want to fo but its not really too far from most points of interest. There is a wonderful local restaurant close but i have to check my old... More

I really couldn't fault this hotel. I've just come back from a 3 night stay at the Marmara and I found it to be just what I needed! Well I notice people are complaining about the food. OK the breakfast could be more varied, but there were about 10 or more things on offer and I can't believe anyone could... More
