Had a good time at Orion mainly because it was super-empty. I think there might of been 4 other people there! So there was no noise, and we had loads of room to light a massive fire, set up the badminton etc

The location of the campground is pretty unique. It sits on a rustic little island that time forgot (Nepsziget I think) full of overgrown gardens, a few canoe clubs... and not much else. But I don't mind that sort of place... after all you are camping! The metro is only about a 10-12 min walk away across the bridge . It is not well lit, and is a little dodgy at night (but overall I think Buda is a very safe city). Metro station is in a shopping centre which has a good supermarket and internet, plus all the other stuff you're likely to need.

Can't remember off the top of my head how much it cost to stay at Orion, but it was cheap. I think it might have 3300/night for our tent and car (2 people). Plus if you stay 4 nights you get the fifth free. Toilet... more
