This hotel is strategically situated in a quiet but very clean street less than 5 minutes away from the city center. Also in less than 5 minutes one can cross the bridge to the Buda part of the city. The hotel is clean inside and out, and the rooms are spotless. Furniture is hypermodern with big LCD screen TV; bathroom... more

Although there was an initial mix up about the number of beds required (we had asked for 3 singles and had been allocated a double and single), this was soon sorted out by the very helpful staff. The room we were finally allocated was very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was in a very pleasnat room and although the food... more

We have enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Hotel Art. Although the entrance hall seemed a bit kitsch and outdated, the frontdesk staff was very helpfull, kind and warm. The rooms are "Best Western" standard: confortable, nicely decorated and spotless clean. The breakfast could be improved, but it's still ok. The breakfast room needs renovation and redecoration. A good... more

The Best Western in Budapest, Hungary is on a street with extensive repairs being done to the street. As a result of these repairs, water service is turned off on an ongoing and scheduled basis. Although the Best Western hotel is aware of these planned water outages they book rooms without ANY prior warning to the guests. Both when booking... more

Good location within walking distance of the main sights. Tastefully refurbished. Stayed 3 nights. Small hotel with an olde world atmosphere. Highly recommended.Reasonable breakfast but awful coffee machine-sadly this seems to be the case in many European hotels. more

Reading some reviews here I had some doubts about this hotel. But being a BW Gold Crown member, and with the hotel's great location, I reserved it. First off, all the reception people were really nice to us. Then, when I got to our floor (the 2nd), I remarked that the hallway had been renovated. And then when I entered... more

We stayed here using Best Western points accumulated over the past few months So really it was booked based on the number of points we had and not in the hope of anything special. The Hotel has just been refurbished so all the rooms are modern and clean. Our room was large with a sitting room and two new TV's.... more

The room itself was dark (not much sunlight gets there) and the decoration tired and worn. I.e. poor lighting, dark brown carpets, walls that needed a fresh coat of paint and the TV was a bit on the tiny side and old. The bathroom at first glance seems small and tidy but on closer inspection needed some further cleaning. The... more

The suite we had was superb and a very reasonable price. It had two full length windows in the lounge, one in the bedroom. We had a view over the Danube which was truly magnificent at night. The rooms were light, bright not garish, the carpet was rust not red. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was... more

Good location, close to river Danube and a number of bars and restaurants. Rooms are basic with no bath, just a shower. Breakfast was awful. more
