let's start with the negatives, located in the high part of Budapest, restricted to cars, pretty much surrounded by nothing else than castles and one restaurant. The view of Budapest (Danube, bridge etc) can be breathtaking only if you are given one of those room facing the city. The room is spacious also with tea pot and personnel is courteous.... more

The location is excellent but the hotel, while qite good, is not really five star standard. The breakfast was reasonably good,the rooms very comfortable and the staff friendly. The hotel should never have been allowed in this location which is right in the centre of the historical area of Buda. That of course is a matter for the hungarians! more
