The hotel is located across the road from the Heros Square and 3mins walk from the "Hosok Tere" metro station. But the city centre and the other side of the river have to be reached by metro or else at least 30min walk. The condition of the hotel is like what everybody said - dirty and old. Not only were... Budapest for New Years eve..... Sounds perfect. Well it was with the exception of the small matter of having to stay at Delibab. To say the whole place is in dire need of a lick of paint and a change of domestic staff is an understatement. Within a minute of geting in the room we had spotted some suspiciously dark... More

My husbabnd and I both rated this as our worst accommadation during our eight week honeymoon. Great location in a great city, such a grand looking building from the outside. Grand staircase and chanderliers for the entrance and meeting room but do not be deluded that this character will survive beyond your hotel bedroom door. The linen felt dirty and... More

We are used to staying in 4 or 5 star hotels and wanted to try a real cheap one for a change and to see why we have spent the extra money in the more expensive places. Well, our question was immediately answered. Used-up sheets, poor breakfast, dirty shower room, small room and an unidentifiable stench. The 3 stars is... More

We picked this hotel because of its old time charm. We'd rather stay in something that has a history than a new glass and steel place that could be anywhere. It has high ceiling rooms and a nice classic staircase going up from the ground floor and a large meeting room where you can sit with the natural light coming... More

A lovely old building and if you follow the instructions on trip adviser review takes about an hour to get there by bus and metro or get a taxi apparently 20 minutes. Get your book of transport tickets at kiosk at airport 10 or 20. Hotel facing Heroes Square, art gallery either side of square, people skating on lake behind... More

The Hotel Delibab is descibed as a listed building with period features. What is does not tell you,is filth makes up most of these features. The Hotel is run down on the outside and even worse on the inside. The floor had inches of dirt in every corner, black marks all over the wallpaper, walls which were paper thin, showers... More

After reading reviews about this hotel, I was very apprehensive. Yes it is true that the walls of the hotel are paper thin. It really does seem like if someone in the next room is talking, they are standing in your room. Apart from that and the toilet had not seen any bleach in years, I was actually pleased for... More

- the mattress is so bad that I feel the iron springs on my back when I sleep. - The walls are paper thin and get woken up several times a night by loud neighbours (even with earplugs on!) - The window does not open and I have to sleep with the balcony door open as it is too hot... More

stayed here in june first 2 nights ok, nobody in rooms next to us, but come the weekend you could hear the people just whispering, not that the were whispering next to us. it is a nice area, but not much choice to eat or drink, cheaper than by the river, but next time we will opt for the river,...
