We booked on the internet for an overnight before a river cruise. We arrived early. Were greeted in immaculate English and booked in immediately. Recommended a lovely restaurant next door. We walked across the bridge in 20 minutes to the shopping area. When we needed one, a taxi appeared in minutes. The driver spoke English and used the meter without... more

This place 'does exactly what it says on the tin' - it is basically 'a one night cheap hotel' and doesn't pretend to be anything else but that. Adequate bedroom but very small bathroom with an awkwardly placed shower which will flood the tiny bathroom if the shower-curtain is not securely placed. The whole hotel is kept spotlessly clean This... more

This was a great hotel for value and location. The room was clean and the breakfast was also very good. Mainly, we picked this hotel for the location. It was close to all the sites around the city. The service was great as we were able to check in earlier. That really helped us a lot as we had just arrived... more

We stayed at this hotel this summer for three nights in our trip across Europe. The hotel was priced right, in an excellent location 30 seconds from the public transportation line, and an overall nice time. Positives: We drove our car to this hotel, and parking was provided right out front of the hotel on the street. I was very... more

My wife and I spent one night at the Hotel Orion. We were taking a river cruise and need a hotel to spend the night before we boarded the boat. The hotel was clean and located close to our river boat. The price was right for spending one night but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay. The breakfast... more

I wont repeat everything other reviewers have already said as its all true. Free wifi was useful. If you don't like walking, you are probably better off staying on the Pest side as you will probably spend more time there. Although it doesnt matter where you stay really, you will be doing some walking as Budapest is so spread out.... more

Stayed here for 6 nites with my wife for holiday. Our room was in very good condition with a comfortable and large king size bed. Although small, the room had a good layout, fridge, and good shelf space for storage. I found breakfast (served 7-10) to be just okay, with a small number of items. The omlette was very good.... more

The hotel is in a great location on the Buda side, one street back from the river near the Elizabeth bridge. It is a quiet area and felt safe at night. We walked everywhere although the tram stops at the end of the street. They seem to be building a new tram line next to the river but you can... more

[20:12:09] Olga Cran говорит: The hotel is on a quiet side street, near the Elizabeth Bridge Bridge and near to the River Danube . A short walk to the nearest shop, anywhere in Budapest you will walk a fair bit to get to where you want to go. The room was a bit small - but apart from that it... more

Stayed for 3 nights in April. Pros : Location - tram was at the end of a short block. One block from river front walking/biking area. Walking distance from Castle funicular and 2 major public baths. Room was small but clean Breakfast was made to order. Cons: Really none. Room was small but we weren't in it that much. Air... more
