I recently stayed at the Kings Hotel for 3 nights, the rooms were basic, clean and perfectly ok for short trip.Breakfast was included but although ok ,very basic. The staff were extremely helpful and had a few good tips to help enjoy our trip.,we were there the bar and restaurant did not seem to be used by anyone . Great location, all attractions within... more

Great location wise, in the heart of pest and very near to metro. Breakfast decent. Everything else extremely basic. More like a 2 star hotel. Very small double room, poorly ventilated, sheets looked very grubby and although non smoking specified, the room smelt of stale cigars and cigarettes. Staff fairly helpful. Ideal if you want simple hotel without the frills. more

Nice, but not spectacular hotel. New lobby and elevator are up to date and fashionable. Rooms left more to be desired. Very high ceilings, but minimal furnishings. Small bed. Breakfast was a standard buffet style, eggs were cold each day of our four day trip. Very nice and helpful service staff. N ot bad overall for the price. more

After reading some mixed reviews, I was pleasently surprised with my four night stay at the Kings hotel. The rooms were small and older but clean, the room was provided with a safe which we only used once (on the day we visited the baths). Breakfast was also provided and while not great, it had all the neccessary things to... more

I cannot recomend this hotel enough. Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights and had an absolutely brilliant time. The hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and also a discounted taxi at the end of our journey. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and went through all the sites and... more

As the third "3 star" hotel in a tour to Krakow, Bratislava, and Budapest, this was the most disappointing by a long way. This was obviously rated 3 star from the hotel lobby. The lobby and the hotel's central Pest location, were by far its only redeeming features. Venture further into the hotel and 1 star would be generous! When... more

Having been to most of Eastern Europes capitals and other notable cities, incl Ukraine and also Russia, this hotel stands out. Its a bargain. Very good location, amazing tariff(s) and very accessible, located between metro 1 and metro 2. Located in a quiet district but so close to everything, historical and cultural, also dining. Functional, not flash. Helpful staff for... more

Overall a pathetic stay for someone on a business trip. Furniture 30 years ols maybe, the window did not lock, I had to change the room. One insect in the shower tub. Cleanness was poor, I was a bity reluctant to put my head on the "pale white" pillow. Service was nice and prompt, however. Breakfast bad, only the omlete... more

Arrived at 11am on a Friday morning, our room was ready even though check in was not until later on, which was great. Hotel is in a good location around 15 minutes walk to Vaci street and the river, so ideal for getting around. We had room 507 which was at the top of the hotel, be aware rooms on... more
