This hotel is really central to everthing you need. Chain Bridge for walking, Metro, Trams, Buses 5 minutes away. 10 mins walk to Fishermans Bastion & Castle although lots of steps for fitter people, funicular 5-6 mins walk if not. Staff are polite food is very nice, we were given a free upgrade to Parliament view as our arranged taxi... more

This is surely the hotel to stay at in Budapest. It is situated in Buda near the Chain Bridge and the funicular to the Old Town. It is lively in the evening with restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is incredibly furnished in a modern fashion with as the name suggests. It is worth paying for a Danube view, looking... more

We arrived on June 26 with approximately 45 other travelers on the Collette Imperial Cities Tour. Up to now the hotels were one of the few areas where Collette did not disappoint us. Their tour was mediocre at best but that is for another web site. After a tiring day of touring the first sign of a problem at the... more

We had a warm welcome at the hotel reception when we arrived, although we were quite a late check in and there was no conseierge on duty. We didn't have breakfast included but were offered the "All you can eat buffett" for 10 euros when we arrived which we took for the convinience more than anything. There was quite a... more

We wanted somewhere comfortable, clean, quiet and aesthetically pleasing. The Art Otel certainly ticked those boxes. Located on the quieter Buda side of the Dabube, the Art Otel is a modern, comfortable, friendly hotel overlooking the houses of parliament on the quayside road. The hotel is nicely decorated, featuring original artworks by Donald Sultan, Breakast is offered at 12 euros... more

I have stayed at the art'otel for a 3 nights stay at the beginning of may 2008, for a weekend with friends... the location of the hotel is on the buda side, near the castle and st mathias' church, but a bit away from the night life areas; as we checked in in the evneing, we decided to try the... more

This hotel is a good 4 star - not exceptional though. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was in reasonably good order - showing a few signs of wear and tear. Linen and towels changed regularly - towels slightly hard. We had a nice view of the Danube - however rooms with a Danuble view do experience quite... more

I have just re-read the reviews of this hotel after staying for 2 nights. Its all there! the Good points are quite accurate, however the bad points are still there too. Doesent the Hotel ever read these reviews and put right the repeated problems. Price of bottle of water in the room 850 huf. Tap water is very nice. Quote... more

We just came back from a 4 night stay at Art'Otel in Budapest. We are both in our early 30's but chose to visit Budapest not for the nightlife but for sightseeing and relaxing for 4 days. We got a really good price (much below the posted room rate by the hotel) through priceline.com, although i kind of hoped we... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Art'otel Budapest for 4 nights March 2008, the hotel was clean and modern, the staff were very friendly and helpul and the room looked exactly like the picture on the hotel website. We paid the supplement for a room with a view over the river and it was worth it. I would absolutely... more
