A large hotel with many facilities, good restaurants, friendly efficient service. Desk staff spoke good English. We just stayed one night; it's close to the ship that goes to Vienna but we were happy with all aspects. The friendliest hotel staff we encountered anywhere in Hungary. more

Stayed 2 nights as part of a tour of eastern europe. \outside the town but accessible by public transport. Rooms are as said by others a little small but adequate for short stays. storing the suitcases was the main problem. As part of a large group we had a set meal but it was enjoyable. Mercure Budapest Buda is a budget hotel. I stayed for the night, 60 Euro per night. The room is clean, but very small. The furniture looked pretty new. The bathroom was far too small, and the furniture was very old. There wasn't even a space to put the necessity bag, so I had to put it on the floor. The... more
