Stayed here for a bit under a week. Great place with fantastic staff. The view of the castle is amazing! Room was very nice with good amenities. The breakfast options were fantastic and very tasty. Location is also pretty accessible. Would definitely recommend for business or pleasure! More

Every time I have traveled to Hungary, I have stayed in Budapest for at least a day at the InterContinental. The location is absolutely amazing and if you get a room facing the Chain Bridge you will have an view of the historic castle area and the beautiful Chain Bridge. The view alone is worth the the hotel stay. The... More

We've stayed in many hotels in Budapest including the IC, but we come back here because the service is great and the views are just the best. Always upgrade to a Danube view room - it is one of the world's greatest views, across the Danube to the castle. Location can't be beaten, within a 10 minute walk of lots... More

Stayed two nights for a conference and extended one night to enjoy the city. The nice room faced the Danube and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly - actually like all people I met in Budapest. The hotel is a bit aging but has a really nice atmosphere to it. Only the food was quite mediocre. Don't eat there... More

Comfortable room with amazing panoramic view of the Danube, Castle District and famous Bridges. Elegant&Casual lounge with large windows that put you right at street and river level; you can take in the city while enjoying great cocktails and a light meal. Spa was small, understated but the masseuses were extremely professional. Concierge and staff were helpful and not overly... More

My first attempt to visit The Intercontinental in Budapest was thwarted at the last minute by the Icelandic Volcano ash cloud. I had paid in advance for the room and feared the worst as the conditions of the booking meant a no show meant I lost my money. I e mailed the hotel and within a day I received a... More

We stayed here for a few days before the Christmas holiday December 2011 while visiting friends, shopping at Christmas markets and sightseeing. This hotel is the Perfect location with the most beautiful riverfront views. Rooms were all pristine and housekeeping cleaned and re-stocked complimentary toilitries, coffee and teas daily. Hotel bar is very inviting and serves top shelf traditional "Paulinka"... More

We stayed here for three nights between Christmas and new years eve. The hotel is in a great location. From our room we looked out across the river it was a million dollar view. The room was comfortable, clean, quite and a decent size. My wife used the in house spa and was very pleased with it. But i would... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights while in Budapest, on the 9th floor overlooking the Danube. This is a superb hotel by any measure, comfortable, quiet, clean and a very comfortable bed. I was offered the club package for 40 euro extra, which entitled me to, among other things, free internet, fitness center, breakfast and buffet supper etc... More
