Booked the hotel through the airline as a 4 star (Anywhere else I would rate it as a 3 Star, MAXIMUM). When we arrived the room we were given was VERY small, NOT very clean and not even a kettle. We were in Budapest for a conference and our Hungarian host recommended this hotel due to its central location and reasonable prices for business travellers. The hotel is an a communist area building of very strange design. It's been made to look funky with the addition of colour, but it does not work. My room was quite dirty - hair in the bed, mold in the shower - and tiny. The breakfast is plentyful, but they charge plenty for it, too. Check-in and other services... more
