I stayed at this hotel off and on throughout 2005. (About 10+ times.) The people were very helpful and the hotel was a good place, and generally, a great location. I'll be traveling back to Budapest this summer and plan on staying at Griff again! more

This is a truly awful hotel, you should avoid at all costs. It may be cheap (€37 for a triple room), but it's cheap for a reason : it's disgusting. This hotel is inexpensive and clean. I was most pleasantly surprised with it. It's about a 1/2 hour's walk to the old town, although one could also take a tram. Parking in the back, no extra charges. Clean rooms, hot showers, and a very simple and tasty breakfast. A great option for the budget traveler. more
