Whether for business or leisure this is a good choice for every traveller. Beautiful building from the beginning of the 20th century with fantastic glass atrium roof. I stayed in a deluxe room which included complimentary internet which was a nice plus. Complimentary internet for all in bar area. Hotel well-located in the centre of Budapest on a nice square... more

LOCATION: Great location near the park! Easy walk to almost all attractions. ROOM: The room was relatively clean. Spacious. Great view of the city. However, the bathroom was outdated. In need of some renovation. Very comfortable bed. Overall, good for the price. STAFF: Genuinely kind and friendly staff. HOTEL: The hotel looks great from the outside. The lobby and public... more

Located strategically in Elizabeth Square close to the shopping, theatre and the tourist attraction in Budapest. Its an imposing building right next to the Kempinski property and a stones throw away from the British-Embassy. A classic lobby with high celings and there is a French-Restaurent, a Cafe and a bar. The cafe has double hight celings and the staff friendly.... more

The Le Meridien had hands down the best staff in a hotel I have encountered. The Hungarians are such warm and hospitable people and this really showed in the staff of the Le Meridien. Traveling to Budapest in the off season, we were able to take advantage of a special promotion they were offering so please be aware of those!... more

Travelled to Budapest with some friends to celebrate a birthday. Hotel was superb and service first class. The hotel is centrally located and great for visiting all of the main tourist attractions. The rooms were lovely and we had the pool to ourselves whenever we went for a swim. I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent service we received... more

Superb! Service was impecable from the door, to check-in, to restaurants. The room (executive) was very large, nicely presented and a very nice place to spend time. Had a corporate rate but value for money was incredible. more

Hotel itself is OK. Rooms large and comfortable, but it depends on what floor you are on as to whether its hot or cold. We complained about the hot room on Level 3 and they moved us to another floor where the "air conditioning works better". It did. Breakfast is extremely overpriced. Location OK - not too far from subway.... more

Dear Reviewer We have been having nothing but great feedback on our breakfast since we have clarified the exchange value. The breakfast at Le Meridien is 6900huf which translates at todays rates into approximately 23Euros, which for a five star Hotel is one of the lowest prices I am aware of. Other hotels in Budapest actually charge 30 Euros. Our...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights after finding a pretty good deal on hotels.com. Because it was an online discount, when we booked it, we weren't sure whether we would get a room with a queen or king-sized bed or with two twin beds. We checked in mid-afternoon and got a non-smoking room with a king, no... more

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and we travel frequently. We used Starwood points and cash so we received a great hotel for a very good price. Bathroom floors are heated and a luxurious bathroom overall. Beds could have been a little more comfortable but linens and pillows were very comfortable. The location was convenient... more
