The Hotel Baross is very near the railroad station. With the Metro construction, it is difficult to find. Think about 3 o'clock from the station front steps. That means walking through wooden edged walkways toward the Burger King. The hotel is on the 5th floor of a building, and the entrance is stuck between a casino and a bar. The... more

If you are happy to have next to nothing air-con and can deal with mosquitos, this is the place for you. When we complained about the air-con, they got someone in who said the air-con was working fine. After the air-con being on for the whole day, it seemed the room was boiling. It was much colder outside so we... more

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were roomy enough and clean. The bathroom was a bit small but had a nice walk-in shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is near Keleti trail station and metro. The only downfall was that we needed a smoking room and they were on the sixth floor and you had to carry your luggage... more

Arrived late at Night on a train from Vienna. The Hotel is very close to Keleti Station but is unfortunately obscured by the building works associated with the extension of the Metro. To gain access you have to go past a security guard and use a lift to access the reception area. I had an attic room with a view... more

Was offered room 503 on arrival. The room stank of damp, and did not get any better when we sprayed the room with the cleaners spray we were given. Moved to tiny corner attic room 606 which had no view whatsoever and was very warm. The room obviosly had a midge/mosquito problem as both of us were bitten mercilessly throughout... more

Very clean room with large shower and roomy bath. The breakfast was included. While the coffee was thin, many different breakfast items were available. We booked at a tourist office in Keleti station and got a good price on the double room (66 Euros). It's a block from the train station, so it's very easy to get either from the... more

its right next to the Railway Station - so easy to get in and out of Budapest. It is a little out of the main action but you can easily walk to them or take a short cab ride if you don't feel fit enough. The included breakfast was just fine, the room very spacious and clean and tbe beds... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights at the end of May. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The only negative thing was that the aircon unit was quite loud and didn't get the room to cold but we opened the window and it was fine. Not sure if this would have been to comfortable in... more

I arrived late at Keleti train station and this hotel is at perfect location right outside the train station. The room is small, basic, clean and has everything I need. The breakfast is good. I stayed there for 3 nights. It is defintely worth of the money as a budget hotel. The hotel has staff available 24 hour and the... more
