We went to Budapest on a whim! We asked some locals where there was an hotel to stay and they pointed us in the directionof the Csaszar. The Receptionists were very helpful and even allowed me to use their computer for a few minutes! The rooms are very basic, but very clean. The bathroom was tiny, but practicable. We only... More

I had a small single room on the ground floor. The room had the basics, so don't expect anything else. The reception staff were polite and very helpful. There is a big swimming pool which i didn't use as I was out all day. The breakfast was just ok, with the exception of the horrible coffee. The location was a... More

The reasons i chose the specific hotel, were the overnight price, the small distance from city center and the safe neighbourhood that is was built. It is a very nice hotel, with comforts and good benefits, but its true "force" is its personnel. All of the employees i contacted, without any exceptions, were mostly serving and willing to help the... More

You can't come to Budapest and not swim every day ...! Which is way we wanted to stay in this charming old convent a second time around in August last year ... we had requested the same room - compact but cool and serviceable, in the annexe overlooking the pool (sheltered by trees) ... so that we could awake in... This is a great value hotel - good for the pocketbook, reasonably comfortable, and located only a short walk from the Magrit Bridge and public transportation. I was there with a small group and we all met in the breakfast area each morning - breakfast wasn't fancy but was adequate for starting the day. Staff were always courteous and often... More

People who stay here may find it noisy if their room faces the street, because the traffic is constant. Better to ask for a room facing the swimming pool, which although noisy for much of the day is totally quiet from 21:00 to 06:00 hours. All rooms are small (the place was once a convent and you are sleeping in... More

Travelled as part of a rugby tour - the hotel was quite tolerant to our large group, although at times it was a close call. A short walk from the tram stop, there is a very good all you can eat buffet on the bridge by the tram stop. The hotel has a large olympic swimming pool, which is used... More

We had a room far from the tram line, so we did have out peace and quiet. :) The staff is really great and they all seem to like their jobs, so they were very responsive. First they took us in early in the morning with no extra charge, and then gave us three more blankets when we said we... More

I booked the hotel because it seemed like a great price, it had a pool, and seemed to be well located, however, none of those components really paid off. The pool was not part of the hotel, but you had to pay a surcharge to use it, as it was a public pool located in the same building complex. The... More
