Stayed here for a long weekend in February. Its housed in a beautifully renovated period building about 500M from the Parliament building itself. Rooms were excellent in spartan/minimalist style and as its recently opened they're in good order. Front desk were helpful and the included breakfast was excellent with a fresh wide choice available, the free tea/coffee/water in the bar... more

Previous reviews are so correct in saying that this hotel has much to recommd it. We asked for a quiet room & that is exactly what we got - a second floor room overlooking the courtyard with a balcony. The breakfast was very good & all staff pleasant and the reception staff helpful Our favourite restaurant was the Hungarian restaurant... more

After a shaky start when we arrived expecting early check-in and having to wait 2 hours, and after expecting "spa credit" as promised through Expedia and being told "you won't get that from us," things turned around during our 2 night stay. Turns out, EVERYONE gets "spa credit," so advertising that as an incentive was a little misleading. The hotel... more

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Parlament. The staff were courteous and professional. Partricularily the bar man who nothing was too much trouble for. Our room was not big, but not small either. The Decor was clean, modern and stylish. The bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom etc. Breakfast was very good , with a large choice of hot... more

Agree with the past posts that this is a great value hotel. At first I thought it might be a bit out of the way but it's within easy walking distance of major sights and Underground. Friendly staff, free wireless, nicely done modern interior space and rooms. Good work Best Western, this is a find. more

I stayed at this hotel with a friend in March. we booked 3 nights at a cheap rate, and were pleasantly surprised at what we got for our money. the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself had recently been refurbished, and was very modern and stylish in design. It was comfortable too, and immaculately clean. the buffet breakfasts... more

Location The hotel is close to the Opera, Parliament and the River which is easy enough to walk to. We felt the location was good and quite central. We used the metro to get from the airport to the hotel but after that did not need it again. A few others have mentioned it is further out than they thought... more

We stayed at Hotel Parlament on a 3-day visit to Budapest. It's in the business/government area of the city, away from the noise of people and traffic but with very easy tram and metro links. It's an easy walk to the parliament buildings, with access to the river edge and the tram that runs up and down that route. The... more

This hotel was a highlight of our trip to Eastern Europe! Even though my wife and I are not fans of contemporary décor, the ultra-modern atmosphere served as a treat, giving us an opportunity to experience this type of ambience. Our room was on an upper floor with a cathedral ceiling and skylights. Laminate wood floors warmed up the otherwise... more

The prices for this hotel and the K+K were comparable, so as the reviews were so positive, I booked my mother and I in this for our 3 night stay in Budapest last weekend. Overall it was a really nice experience, but it wasn't as good as I had hoped from reading the reviews. Downsides - Location: The airport shuttle... more
