When arriving at the apartmentbuilding you might think - what is this??? There is a small sign telling you the adresse- Victor Hugo 25-27- thats all.
When you get int the lobby, you get an idea of old times Budapest- it is in fact an apartment building where Hungarians live and you often meet them in lobby, or on the stairs- just say hello and they will reply in english or german:-)- Language skills in reception might not be perfect, but they will indeed try to help you or find someone who can.
Had a small studio with balcony- beds a bit squirky, furniture not newest design- but suited my needs- it was cleaned daily, fresh towels everyday. small kitchenette with few utensils and microwawe/oven. Lots of diffrent channels on telly- and my room had cable-internet for my laptop, which worked fine. did not have breakfast, so can not comment.
Just up the road you find big Hungarian market and further down the road the huge West-end shopping mall, with loads of shops and...
