The Korona Hotel in Eger is in a good location within walking distance to the town center. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the hotel needs a lot of work. The TV is tiny, no free internet, old beds and mattresses, old “communist” style decor in the rooms. I did not check the pool and the spa services... more
Our family including two small children stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. We asked the hotel to wash two shopping carrier bags of laundry for us which in England would cost about £15 to wash and dry. The bill came to 18,500.00 HUF about £53! more than the clothes were worth. We questioned this bill, as their laundry list... more

We stayed at the Korona on the top floor in the newly built 4 star building which has a fine restaurant, indoor swimming pool, sauna, and wellness facilities.
