We arrived in Gyor in the late afternoon with a list of hotels we'd researched in advance. This was the first hotel we viewed and saw no reason to look any further. The price was less than half of other hotels on our list. The rooms were big with great views. Our room looked over a nice square with a beautiful church at the other end. The hotel has a small restaurant in the basement. This was a bit noisy when we arrived but closed well before we went to sleep that night around 10.

The rooms were large with plenty of space and a couch. The ceilings high. As you enter the room there's a bath across from the door and a short hallway into the bed with another door. This makes the room very quiet as it cuts out both the lobby and bathroom noises. It also allows you to visit the bathroom without waking your mate.

The staff was very helpful even letting us use the internet to check our emails. The hotel is just on the west end of the old town. The cathedral... more
