This was our first trip to Bratislava so were unsure of where to stay and what to expect. We came across the Old Town Apartment on a few websites and it seemed like it was in a good location, it looked modern and best of all it was a very good price.

Well we were right! It was absolutely perfect. We stayed in a studio which was on the top floor of a quiet office block right in the heart of the old town. It felt very secure and there was a terrace where you could sit outside and enjoy views up to the castle. This would be even better in summer time. The apartment was modern and clean, had a bathroom and separate toilet, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and hob so we stocked up on a few essentials from Tesco (yes, Tesco is absolutely huge in Bratislava about 10 minutes from the apartment through the square). The apartment owners were very helpful and although our confirmation stated you had to pay in cash, you could actually pay by card in their travel... more
