7 of us stayed in the Botel Gracia for my stag do organised through an internet stag do company. When we first arrived at the hotel we all thought 'oh dear, but you get what you pay for' and I think that is the key here. The hotel was clean, my room was very spacious and I had a good... more

A good experience staying actually on the Danube, but still really close to the old town and main sights. Arriving on the hydrofoil from Budapest it was really accessible - just a short walk along the river. The room was bigger than I expected though the bathroom was a bit small and the air conditioning didn't work. A bit of... more

A smashing time had by all, the hotel (Botel) offers all the amenities you could so desire, clean spacious rooms, shower and mini bar, stocked with possibly the strongest proof beer I've ever sampled, an upper deck dedicated to offering an extensive restaurant and bar with delightful views both up and down the Danube, and a first rate entertainer was... more

Just got back from staying in Botel Gracia on a stag weekend. Location for bars and the old town is ideal only 5 mins walk even Tesco's isn't too far for essentials (water, Frazzles, cheesy poofs, paracetamol etc). As for the Botel itself, it is very dated and low end. Cabins are OK but the beds and bathroom are small... more

It seemed to us a very good idea to book this hotel which is in fact a boat on the Danube. It happened to be a really bad idea. Rooms are cabins' boat, so they're really tiny. Our experience was really bad for various reasons : TV didn't work at all, radio neither, furniture are really old (it's obvious that... more

Judging by the tone of some of the comments about the Botel Gracia, you’d think it was a floating Nissen hut. It isn’t. The breakfast wasn’t the best in the world – fair enough. Also, I agree that the toilet / showers are small. But my room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. Also, my room/cabin was kept... more

I've just returned on Monday after staying in the Botel Gracia with a stag of 21 people from Sunderland. It was not as bad as people made out. Admittedly I wouldn't take my lass there like but for groups of hens and stags its perfectly okay? They let you get away with murder, the rooms are clean but look like... more

Be warned! Dare to stay at the Botel Boca Gracia at your own peril. I agree with nugenae that the botel's website is misleading and brochures of the place are not accurate representations of the reality that is the Botel Gracia. We read these reviews before we went and were wary of the botel. However, our group agreed that online... more

We were looking forward to staying at the Gracia Botel after seeing the pictures on their website. Our first impression of the Botel when we arrived last week was the awful smell in the entrance hall. The reception and bar area looked ok but the rooms were definately nothing like the descriptions and pictures on the hotel website. The rooms... more
